Take the Ice!

Watch your child take their next "first steps" as they hit the ice for the first time in a fun, introductory lesson designed for kids with little or no prior skating experience. Our Rangers Hockey Development Team will lead a session at Long Beach Ice Arena to kick off our Junior Rangers Girls 2026-27 programs!

Each sessions includes:

• Free rental skates and loaner equipment, to use for the duration of the clinic
• Professional instruction alongside either a NYR Alumni or NYR Female Ambassador
• Post-skate meet & greet with NYR Alumni/Special Guests

This program is designed for children 5-12 with little or no hockey and skating experience. If you have already participated in Rookie League, Learn to Play, or any other organized youth hockey program, please see our website for more fitting playing options!
