Join us as we launch the Junior Rangers Ball Hockey League this spring geared for kids ages 6-12 across the tri-state area! This year we are proud to offer two unique options for our Junior Rangers and Youth Hockey Players to get out an play hockey without the challenges of on-ice concerns. This recreational program offers players the ability to join one of the following: 

• Skills and Drills - Designed for children between the ages of 6-9, these players will participate in weekly stationed based beginner programming to learn the basics and develop their skills week over week. With a 10:1 coach to player ratio, your child will continue to advance their hockey skills week over week.
• Ball Hockey League - Designed for children between the ages of 10-12 who have an existing youth hockey background, this house league program will play weekly one (1) hour round-robin games against their peers. Teams will be created and a schedule will be built specifically for each location. 

The Rangers will provide sticks for players to utilize week over week as well as nets and goalie equipment. 

Participants Receive:

• Professional instruction from NYR Alumni and the NYR Hockey Development Team 
• (1) Junior Rangers Performance Pinnie
• 10 Week Program (1) Hour Per Week for each age group
• Convenient locations across the tri-state area hosted at family friendly times

Cost:

• $150 per participant
• Scholarships - Financially based scholarships are available to remove any financial barrier to the game.

Structure: Skills & Drills - USA Hockey ADM Model (Station based programming) - 1 hour each week. Building a foundation of skills that will allow each child to enjoy the game to the best of his or her ability. By focusing on core skills and fundamentals, kids will develop the skills needed to succeed and have fun

• Ball Hockey League - 1 hour of recreational house league game play each week. 

Players should wear athletic attire and proper sneakers for the program and dress for the weather forecasted. Games and practices are run on ball hockey court spaces and therefore will not require ice skates or rollerblades to participate.
